Salinity: Australia’s White Death is an interactive study about one of Australia’s most important environmental and social issues–salinity–which threatens farms, wetlands, rivers, drinking water, towns and cities. A variety of links enable students to investigate:

• the fragile nature of the physical environment
• the impact of people on the physical environment
• issues of land and water management
• their role as decision-makers about their own and other people’s future.
